The Interfaith Talk Committee

Since my involvement in the Interfaith Talk Committee in 2001, I have met many wonderful and energetic people. Without them, the programme would not have been what it is today. To these special people, your hardwork and help is much appreciated. I apologize if I have inadvertently left any of you out. There were just too many of you.

Thank you!

4 Hectic Days

I was back in Sitiawan for more than 4 days. I reached home last Saturday night and now I am back in KL. It has been a very hectic period for my family. We have finally shifted to Indera Kayangan. I helped to load our belongings onto the lorry yesterday evening.

Sitiawan has changed a lot since I was back in March. The main road from Kg Koh to Simpang Empat is being widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. More lands have been reclaimed from a few schools including the school field of my alma mater and the Convent. The lamposts will be removed and installed further away from the road. Now there are almost no big tree along the road.

To my surprise, the Sitiawan roads were rather quiet now than before. Could it be I am too used to the busy roads in KL? I don’t really drive here you know.

I have fond memories of that place. Ita, I drove passed your house twice ;)
Bila kita nak jumpa ni? I have not seen your boyfriend for ages!

I am really tired! I think my father is even more tired since he has been the super busy packing and packing. He must be dead tired after driving all the way to Perlis and unload the our belongings with my uncles. Daddy, I love you ;)

Looking forward to see you…

My appointment with a good friend scheduled to be this Friday has to be cancelled due to her recent dental surgery. It must be painful to go through such surgery.

I myself have 3 wisdom teeth at odd positions yet I have been reluctant to extract them. The only problem I have with them now is I have to floss those corners. Troublesome.

I am pretty not sure when we will meet up - hopefullly week after next. There is so much to catch up with each other.

Goodbye Sitiawan.

OMG! I don’t have a place to stay in Sitiawan anymore.
My family is shifting to Perlis!! That is sooooo far. *sob sob*
Lumut and Sitiawan are the places I grew up most of the time!

I won’t be back in Sitiawan for holidays anymore.

Do you know Perlis is a state without an airport! Samy Vellu, cepat bina satu!
