I am close to most of my relatives, near and distant, despite difference of religion and opinion. Among them are Taoists, agnostics, atheists and also Christians. It is common among them to equate Malays as Muslims and Muslims as Malays just like almost every Malaysians in the country do. Year 2007 has been eventful for me. I did so many things, met so many people at so many different places - online and offline. There were exciting moments as well as boring, unhappy and dreaded days. There were many days when friends were too occupied with work and I have been left alone clicking away in front of my laptop. Some friends had totally forgotten about us after being attached to their significant other….yeah…I was kinda lost for some months. Those were trying moments as a result of having too many girlfriends as close friends….haha…
But today, just a few hours before the start of the near year, a dear friend which I didn’t expect a call from called to wish me a happy new year. Seeing her name on the display of my mobile phone made me almost speechless, excited and flattered. Which secret admirer wouldn’t be flattered?? :)
