Moksha
I was very happy on Monday night. Happy because I am finally self-employed and they sky is now the limit. Unlike when I was an employee, now the thoughts of how to generate income just keep flowing. It just feel different. A sense of liberation, a taste of freedom…
A lot of encouragement… Friends and family have been very supportive of this huge step I am taking. There were congratulatory messages and words of encouragement which were very touching. I pray I won’t let anyone of you down.
Virtues of this moksha:
- I have the flexibility to arrange my priorities and time. I realize that I have to be even more discipline now than before. Time management is crucial to success. Every minute counts.
- I can work from the comfort of my home office. I never like traffic jams and overcrowded places. Wish that my office is on the hill overlooking the sea. Wouldn’t that be inspiring while contributing to open source software projects? :)
- I can meet friends and friends’ colleagues over lunch around PJ and Subang. It is really boring to see the same faces daily.
- I can backpack and run to another state. Work on the move!
- I know I will not be hungry for the next 6 months while maintaining my current lifestyle but I am already hungry for business since Tuesday.
- I will have more time to blog on the few blogs I possess ( to generate income also LOL).
Briefly, I was in Malacca for 3 days since Wednesday. I managed to attend the Interfaith Talk programme in MMU Melaka, joined friend’s CG for Bible study, slept longer than usual, had late night chats with friends whom I miss dearly. Friends, thank you for the company :)
The best has yet to come!
Here wishing you all the best in your future undertakings! And another cup of coffee when you succeed. And when you come to Sitiawan you know who to find =)
